I bought it just to make peanut butter and it worked. The amount of peanuts you use does make a difference and some people might add a little oil to facilitate the process. Otherwise the grinder works well for its price.

If you are doing coffee beans over ground coffee and do not have a built-in grinder, this is the best one for the money!

In the beginning I didn’t like it at all. If you just grind it sitting flat on the counter it grinds the beans finer close to the blades and courser to the outside. The fine gets through the sieve and leaves a sediment in the bottom of your cup. I now hold it in my hand and move it from side to side while grinding for about 15-20 sec. The beans are uniformly ground with a slightly larger grain leaving no sediment at the bottom. Coffee has a much better taste too and is not so bitter. If you’re using an espresso pot or machine then a finer grind is necessary, but for a coffee machine or French press the coursed grind is perfect.

Had a large bur grinder. Based on reviews, had this shipped place would be staying temporarily. Took it with me to permanent lodging because fits much better smaller space. Does great, quick job grinding beans. Easy clean. Highly recommend
